We are thrilled to offer a dedicated Mentor Booth at this year’s ESA2025 conference. This booth will run across all days of the conference and provides a unique opportunity for Early Career Ecologists to engage in one-on-one ‘speed’ mentoring sessions with established ecologists across various fields, including local and state government, natural resource management, NGOs, industry, consultancies and academia.
Each mentoring session will be a concise 10 minutes, allowing you to seek guidance, ask
questions, and gain insights from experienced professionals in your area of interest.
Sessions will take place in the mornings before talks start, from 7:45 – 8:15 am, and during the lunch break.
How to reserve a place:
Follow these simple steps to book a mentoring session:
1. Explore mentor info
Click HERE to view details about each mentor. Their available session times are listed next to their names.
2. Go to the booking page
All bookings are managed through ‘VolunteerSignup’.
3. Choose your session
Sessions are organised by day and time. Each session has one available slot.
4. Sign up
Once you’ve chosen your session, click the Signup button next to it.
5. Fill out the form
Enter your details and click ‘Agree’. Sign up to confirm your booking.
6. Check availability
If a session is already booked, it will be marked as FULL on the signup sheet.
