The Barbara Rice Memorial Poster Session is a much-anticipated highlight of the ESA Conference program, bringing together early-career researchers, students, and established scientists for an engaging evening of knowledge sharing and community building. Named in honour of Barbara Rice, a passionate advocate for ecological science and education, this session celebrates her legacy by fostering a welcoming and supportive space for scientific exchange.

Join us as the poster hall comes alive with vibrant discussions and thought-provoking research across a wide range of ecological disciplines. Presenters will be on hand to share their work, answer questions, and connect with delegates in an informal and collegial atmosphere.

Holsworth Scholarship Alumni Drinks

Dr Bill Holsworth is a renowned ecologist, mammalogist, wildlife biologist and philanthropist. In 1989 Bill and his wife Carol established the Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment to fund grants to universities for postgraduate students in fauna and flora.

This function is open to anyone who has received a Holsworth grant, supervisors of someone who has received a grant and anyone who has assessed applications
